Lorelai had her operation at Nemours DuPont Hospital today at 6:30am. Doctor removed what he called a "vascular malformation" on the back of her left leg, below the knee. The operation took about an hour-- she was a champ. I was sad to see her all loopy and disoriented. Afterwards, all she wanted was to sit on my lap in the recovery room.
When we got back home, we were told to cuddle the little one and elevate her foot when possible. Lorelai was having none of that-- she was trying to run all over after one episode of
My Little Ponies and one board book. You can't keep a Lorelai still for very long!
